Phew! Just finished three new bird houses painted true to the Victorian/Edwardian "Painted Ladies" style. "Painted ladies" is a term used for Victorian and Edwardian houses and buildings painted in three or more colors that embellish or enhance their architectural details. I really enjoyed making these, with the help of my partner and his wood working tools, I made the houses from 3/4" outdoor plywood. Each house has two homes for small birds and they are suitable for placing inside or outside. The worst part of making these is the drying time wait.
